In order to imbue an item with the effects of the potion of carpentry you must activate the potion, right click the item, and choose "Alchemy > Imbue". Potions obtainable by mixing [[unique]]'s blood and a [[source salt]] were introduced to the game on the second of June, 2014 coinciding with the respawning of unique creatures across all servers. At first, upon switching servers blood became generic blood and crafted this item instead of the intended potion.
