== Server type summary ==''Freedom servers cluster 2 '' This was a new cluster starting with Pristine at the official release of Wurm Online 1.0 which wasn't connected to freedom cluster 1 for one and a half years in order to provide that total newbie feeling. The following table summaries second server in this cluster was Release, which is situated to the features southern border of Pristine. Sailing west from either of these servers leads you to Xanadu. '' Freedom servers cluster 3 '' The new Freedom server of Xanadu was isolated from the player other serversfor a few weeks. Full PvP is enabled here between the Freedom Isles and Player Made Kingdoms. You can fully raid deeds, pick locks, and bash things on deed. GMs generally avoid intervening in PvP server affairs. However, excessive griefing and other violations of the game rules will be punished as appropriate.

These are all PVP servers. The Epic cluster is affected by The Curve, a skill gain formula that can allow new players to catch up to older players. The central island is named Elevation and is the crossroads where the different kingdoms meet and engage in warfare with each other. Elevation is a premium-only server. Elevation can have player made kingdoms founded on it. The southern island has been named Affliction and can be reached by traveling south from Elevation. Affliction is the homeland of the Horde of the Summoned Kingdom and is a mixed server, allowing both premium and non-premium players. The western island has been named Desertion and can be reached by traveling west from Elevation. Desertion is the homeland of Mol-Rehan and is a mixed server, allowing both premium and non-premium players. The eastern island has been named Serenity and can be reached by traveling east from Elevation. == Server type details Northern Freedom Isles==The Northern Freedom Isles are the newest servers, consisting of three PVE servers (Harmony, Melody, and Cadence) and one PVP server (Defiance). These servers are currently cut off from all other servers in Wurm to allow for new players to grow and skill together. Normal Freedom/PVE rules apply on the PVE servers, but Defiance has its own PVP rule set.

The Tutorial server (Golden Valley) is where all new accounts are created. The aim of the tutorial is to introduce the player to the game mechanics. {| border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3"|-! Premium time has no effect till the player leaves the : <span id="Note_1">^[1]</span> Enemy kingdoms can still be on this server, as the Tutorial server only allows basic accountsbut they cannot create towers or deeds. Thus skills are limited : <span id="Note_2">^[2]</span> Possible to a maximum of 20 attack other players, but you will become an outlaw. In PvP zones however you can attack all players.: <span id="Note_3">^[3]</span>Dueling and resource quality is also limited to 20. There are no gods or altars present on the Tutorial serverSparring with other players if both parties consent.

==Jackal==The tutorial was built on the Golden Valley Jackal server. New players are spawned in the tutorial area and cannot leave other than through the portals to the Epic is a seasonal server that refreshes with new challenges and Freedom servers. However accounts that were active before the tutorial was created are currently able to stay outside the tutorial area. These accounts are able to transfer closes to the other servers, but some have chosen to remain. PvP, theft, deeds, be wiped and [[guard tower]]s restarted after those challenges are not allowed on the Tutorial servermet.
