Only digging actions, including digging to pile, have a chance of producing one.* On [[Elevation]], [[Large treasure chest]]s and Supply depots have a chance to contain a bone.

*They have a one -time use for transferring their [[rarity system|rarity level]] onto another item.**Item must be a finished and must be an item and fit inside that can be picked up/held in inventory.* Cannot be used on coins.* There is no timer for use of a strange bone.
