The White Light (aka The White Beam, The White Thingy...ma bob),The White Pole Etc. This is the [[Altar of Three]] where you can convert to any of the good [[Gods]].

If you head North West from the [[White Light]] you will eventually find the [[Black Light]] where you can convert to the evil Goddess [[Libila]]. <i>NOTE</i> - If you join Libila you automatically become Horde of the Summoned aka 'Blacklighter' (HOTS) and cannot spawn or go anywhere near NT.

WL is no longer visible from NT, suicide bonus on deed was removed.
Upon logging in, your avatar will spawn (see [[Spawning]]) in a village called [[Newtown]] (NT), you spawn here the first time you play, and also when you die (there are some exceptions).
Do not steal in and around NT. The guards will quickly make swiss cheese of your body.
If you get stuck in a large pit or cave and definitely cannot get out or if you find a bug/glitch Etc, type '/dev' to contact any of the GM's/Devs if they are online. <br>(See [[Helpful_People]]). Please use this feature sparingly.

=Death and Dying=
When you die you will loose 0.25 skill if you are off a deed, on a deed you will loose 0.025 skill. Also, you will be on a red and black screen with a little box in the middle, you will have to choose where you want to respawn. If you are dead and you cannot see the little box, type /respawn in your chat window.
While you have no deed, or are not an [[Alliance|ally]] of one, you will only be able to spawn at [[Newtown]] or start (also [[Newtown]]). When you are on a deed, you will be able to [[Spawning|spawn]] there, if that deed has any [[Alliance|allies]] you will be able to [[Spawning|spawn]] there also.
