You will need to use a needle on a piece of [[drake hide]] of sufficient [[weight]]. Drake hide can now only be obtained by being in [[Local]] range, and having premium time, when a [[dragon]] is being slain. Drake hide can be traded with other players, and the pieces can be [[combine]]d. Drake hide armour is very difficult to create and to [[improve]].
Drake hide armour is often worn with a [[steel ]] [[great helm]] instead, because a drake hide cap does not protect your [[Item:face|face]] and eyes, and face [[wound]]s always cause high amounts of damage.
