Windthrow Reserve
Windthrow Reserve is a live-in, conservational settlement on the coast north of Dragon Fang mountain. Founding member, Marlon, originates from the still existing and very old Plattekloof settlement south of Freedom Market. While Plattekloof still has much nostalgic and valuable use, Windthrow Reserve will serve as a residential settlement, lodge and depot for the fulfillment of certain interests.
At the time of writing of this article, the founder said "There is a lot going on in this area, there is a lot riding on this. Not much can be said, as this will influence the neighboring settlement, but changes will come"
Current projects
- Undisclosed interests under investigation and research in the surrounding areas.
- Increasing land surface with moderate dredging, and mine optimisation.
- Restoring feasible and self-sustaining tree and shrub growth (especially of fuel and construction worthy woodtypes)
- Transportation over water (purchase or construction of a newer water vessel)

While still small, the potential for this settlement to grow to the size of Plattekloof, and certain types of villagers will be welcome!
At this time, one person can join. This person should have some skill to assist with sprouting, cooking or mining, but will not be considered a worker for the village. It will be a home, with the chance to assist and grow into the underlying business at a later stage.
