A '''spawn''' in [[Wurm]] is where [[animals]] are created into the world. Most animals are spawned from [[lair]]s but some will also spawn on certain [[terrain]], areas of certain influence such as [[HOTS]], or can be hatched. [[Tame]]able animals can also be [[bred]].

Unique creatures are only spawned once with initially at the creation cration of the world/[[map]], and . Once a unique has killed each month it will not return without [[GM]] interventionhave a random chance of respawning. Exceptions to this are [[dragons]]; female dragons can on a rare occasions occasion lay a [[huge egg]] which should has a chance to hatch.
